The "Cowgirl Up! Art from the Other Half of the West" exhibition and sale will return to the Desert Caballeros Western Museum for its 14thyear from March 29 through May 12, 2019. Conceived in 2006 to offer a platform for women in the male-dominated genre of Western art, "CU!" has become one of the premiere national events for women Western artists.

In traditional western parlance, "cowboy up" describes overcoming an obstacle through a dynamic combination of ability and grit. So, when the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, AZ, launched an annual exhibition dedicated to women artists of the West in 2005, the title "Cowgirl Up!" felt particularly appropriate.

Returns To Wickenburg The Cowgirl Up! Quick Draw & Auction Fundraiser will be returning to the Desert Caballeros Western Museum this Sunday, March 27. For the popular "Quick Draw" event, the Cowgirl Up! artists have only 90 minutes to paint, draw, or sculpt an original work of art.
